1. General Terms

These Terms of Service apply to all purchases made in the online store www.carinecandle.ee.

The online store reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect once published on the website.


2. Prices and Product Information

All prices displayed in the online store are in euros (€).

Shipping costs are added to the product price. Delivery costs depend on the buyer’s location and selected delivery method and are shown in the checkout before order confirmation.

Product information is provided on each product page.


3. Order Placement and Payment

To place an order, the customer must:

  • add products to the cart
  • fill in the required information
  • choose a delivery method
  • complete the payment

Payments are processed outside the online store in a secure payment environment.
Bank links and card payments are provided by Montonio.

Available payment methods:

  • Estonian bank links (Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Coop Pank, Luminor, Citadele)
  • International banks (e.g. Revolut, N26, Artea)
  • Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Installment payments from €100 are available via Inbank

After successful payment, the customer is redirected back to the online store.

The sales contract becomes effective once payment is received.

The online store stores order-related data that may be used as evidence in dispute resolution.

If the ordered product is unavailable, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and any payments made will be refunded without delay, but no later than 7 days.


4. Delivery

The online store ships orders to the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland.

Orders are delivered via DPD parcel machines or courier service.

Shipping costs are paid by the buyer and are shown at checkout before order confirmation.

Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days after the sales contract becomes effective.

Delivery time is typically 2–5 business days from the moment the order has been shipped.

In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 30 calendar days.


5. Right of Withdrawal

The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from receiving the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if:

  • the customer is a legal entity
  • the product is custom-made or personalized

The product may be used only to the extent necessary to establish its nature and functionality.

Returned products must be unused and, where possible, in their original packaging.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a notice to info@carinecandle.ee within 14 days of receiving the goods and return the product within 14 days after sending the notice.

Return shipping costs are covered by the customer, unless the product is defective or incorrect.

Refunds are issued within 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice, but the store may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received or proof of return has been provided.


6. Complaints and Claims

The online store is liable for non-conformity of goods for up to 2 years from delivery.

During the first 12 months, it is assumed that the defect existed at the time of delivery.

The customer must notify defects within a reasonable time, but no later than 2 months after discovering the issue, by emailing info@carinecandle.ee.

In case of a defect, the customer has the right to request:

  • repair or replacement of the product
  • or termination of the contract and refund if repair or replacement is not possible

Complaints will be answered within 15 days.


7. Dispute Resolution

Complaints must be sent to info@carinecandle.ee.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the customer has the right to contact:

  • the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee
  • the European Union Online Dispute Resolution platform

The procedure is free of charge for the customer.


8. Limitation of Liability

The online store is not responsible for damages caused by delays in delivery if such delays are due to circumstances beyond the store’s control.

The online store is not liable for indirect damages, including loss of profit or business opportunities.


9. Force Majeure

The online store is not liable for failure to perform obligations or delays caused by force majeure.

Force majeure includes events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, transport disruptions, or other similar events.
